- A 45-minute calm water cruise on the Kuranda Riverboat. The commentary highlights various aspects of the world’s most ancient tropical rainforest in Australia, river life, and the history of Kuranda. The river is home to a host of wildlife including freshwater crocodiles, turtles, snakes, fish and birds. Occasionally a wild cassowary may be spotted on the edge of the rainforest. All tours on the Kuranda Riverboat are subject to seasonal river conditions and group bookings.
- Entry to the Kuranda Koala Gardens where you can experience Australia’s most popular wildlife. Handfeed kangaroos or wallabies, have a photo holding a koala, and see wombats, quokkas, lizards, snakes, and freshwater crocodiles, and walk through the nocturnal exhibit where bilbies are housed.
- Entry to Birdworld Kuranda where you can see Australia’s largest collection of free-flying birds. There are over 350 birds living at Birdworld and hand-feeding and photo opportunities are available.
